Our story
We didn’t open this bank to scale. We opened it because nobody small enough was answering the phone.
The Mortgage Exchange opened in Chesterton, Indiana in 2014 with one goal: help real people buy and refinance homes with real, custom loan options — not a single bank’s product line. We work with the country’s top investors so each borrower gets options matched to their home and their future.
Today 70+ officers work out of 10 offices across 15 states. The loan product list has grown — Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, HELOC. The way we work hasn’t: a real person, a real underwriter, and a real phone call.
